Introducing: Personalised Colour Palettes<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Hi everyone, Olga here today! We recently launched our new range of personalised colour palettes, and we\u2019ve been so grateful for your response so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A birth chart was one of the first prints in our shop<\/a>. As a decorative print, it is an eye-catcher in every home. Unfortunately, most people cannot read their charts and have no access to the message it carries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a passionate astrologer, I have always wished there was a way to change this. Automatic chart readings are usually not worth the money and professional in-person reading consultations are expensive. What to do?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One day, I had an idea. What if we translated the meaning from a horoscope into a different language? Immediately, I thought about colours. Colours have their own language. There are many books about the role colours play in home design and their impact on humans. All colours have complementary and conflicting pairs. And most people know intuitively if some combination of colours is harmonious or clashes. This is where colours can beautifully convey all the harmony and contention, talents and challenges that are so key to the understanding of ourselves a horoscope can bring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The palettes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Now, it was time to code! I had to find a way to somehow map the positions of the chart components to a library of colours. After some battles, I generated a matrix that I could apply to an organised list of colours and pick colours corresponding to individual chart placements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tested this matrix with my own chart and created my own colour palette. I fell in love instantly. These colours felt familiar; they weren\u2019t all colours I would use in my wardrobe, but I saw all of them around my home, in the objects, art and fabrics I decorate my life with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I created a personal palette<\/a> for Xenia. It was very different from mine but coherent in its own way and lovely to look at. When Xenia saw it, she noticed that she had already been using many colours from the palette in her clothes and home.
Further tests revealed that many people spontaneously liked their palette and saw it as a representation of their personality. On the other hand, some people appreciated the uniqueness of the palette but disliked particular colours in it (many of you are allergic to pink it seems \ud83d\ude09).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the colours represent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We have learned that our palettes are a showcase for the overall trends in a chart. They represent all parts of a personality, not just those a person likes. Many people naturally use their talents but avoid conflicts. Facing these in the palette can be challenging but also rewarding. Some colours in our chart represent generational topics, so a few of the resulting colours will be similar for many people of the same age group. Reflection on your stance concerning your generation can be incredibly interesting too. Since every birth chart is unique \u2013 even twins may have differences in their charts \u2013 the corresponding colour palette is always unique as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
